  • First, we’ll take a look inside your mouth to check the condition of your remaining teeth and identify whether any additional treatment is required (for example, extraction).
  • We’ll then take moulds of the inside of your mouth and make a ‘trial denture’ which can help check that the fit is comfortable and secure in your mouth.
  • We’ll then have your dentures created, ensuring they are as natural-looking and durable as possible.

  • What are your dentures made of?

    Our dentures are made from durable acrylic, which look extremely natural, to the point that others might not notice you have artificial teeth at all. We also offer cobalt chrome dentures, which can be a more affordable option.

  • Does the procedure hurt?

    No, although some may find it slightly uncomfortable. We always aim to make our patients feel as comfortable as possible during treatment.

  • What's the difference between partial and complete dentures?

    Complete dentures are either an entire upper or an entire lower set of teeth. Partial dentures replace 1 or more missing teeth. These are carefully clipped onto the surrounding teeth to ensure they stay firmly in the mouth.

  • How do I care for my dentures?

    • Wear as directed by your Dentist
    • Clean your dentures as you would your natural teeth
    • If directed to remove them overnight, first brush away any food particles, then leave them to soak in a solution of denture-cleaning tablets
    • Ensure you keep any other teeth, and your mouth, gums and tongue, clean by brushing (and flossing where possible).
    • Take care not to drop or break them
    • Eat soft foods to begin with, then gradually build back to your normal diet
    • Some patients may be able to use a dental adhesive – talk to your Dentist about this. Ensure you remove this with soap and water.

  • When will I need to change my dentures?

    Keep an eye on your dentures for signs that they may need replacing, including if they ‘click’ when talking, slip or don’t fit properly, feel uncomfortable, or appear worn.
