Dr Anika Patel MBBS MSc

Dr Anika Patel is the Founder and Director of The Doctor’s Method Clinic. She qualified from Barts and the London Medical School in 2011 and has a background in Anaesthetics with a Masters in Critical Care. She is an Advanced Life Support provider and is becoming a trainer. This has allowed her to develop great skill with her hands and the ability to pay particular attention to detail and safety.  She is a member of the Aesthetic Complications Expert Group and Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative to reassure patients of safety being a key focus of all treatments as well having as the knowledge and ability to recognise and treat complications promptly. She specialises in medical aesthetics having been Masters level (Level 7) trained at Harley Academy, so has a thorough understanding of anatomy, resulting in a high standard of practice. She believes in enhancing natural beauty and takes a holistic, evidence-based and bespoke approach to all treatment journeys to ensure patients receive care which meets their individual needs. She enjoys combining her artistic and practical skills to achieve great aesthetic results that have a positive impact on patients confidence and wellbeing.

Dr Yoshan Patel BDS MFDS (Edin) PgCert Dent Ed.

Dr Yoshan Patel graduated from Kings College London in 2016, He is working part-time at Guys and St Thomas’ hospital and has been involved in several National Panels over the last year for bodies such as for the British Dental Association on restorative dentistry. He has been involved in teaching restorative dentistry to younger, newly graduated dentists with the London Deanery and providing advanced skills training for wider dental care professionals such as Nurses, Hygienists, Hygiene therapists and Clinical dental technicians on behalf of Health Education England. Dr Patel has been awarded with national awards, the ‘National Young Endodontic Dentistry Award’ from the British Endodontic Society, ‘Regional Case Presentation Award’ from the London Deanery and the ‘National Case Presentation Award’ from the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr Patel is a board member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists and has a PgCert in Dental Education from the University of Bedfordshire. He has completed several Postgraduate courses to further his skill set in elements of restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Due to his calm and gentle manner, he is popular with young children and anxious patients, he is keen on creating an enjoyable experience for his patients and attempts to tailor treatment to their’ individual needs.

Dr Karin Schachinger MD

Dr Karin is a local GP with 10 years of experience. She has worked in the Queen’s Park and surrounding areas for years and is well known and popular with local patients.

She qualified from the Medical University of Vienna in 2008 and subsequently moved to the UK. She worked as a junior doctor in various specialities and completed her GP training on the Central Middlesex Scheme in London.

She holds postgraduate degrees in Dermatology (Queen Mary’s 2016) and Family Planning (FSRH 2015) and she is an active member of the British Menopause Society. She is working towards becoming an accredited Menopause Specialist.

She currently splits her time working privately in General Practice and in the NHS as GP with an extended role in Gynaecology.

Dr Rishana Bilimoria BDS (Hons), MFDS, MClinDent Orthodontics, MOrth (RCS Eng)

Dr. Rishana qualified as a Dentist at King’s College London where she received her BDS Honours degree in 2015 and earned a University Scholarship recognising her academic performance.

Throughout her dental career, Dr. Rishana has gained a wealth of invaluable experience working in various Specialties in London Dental Hospitals, undertaking dental core training in Paediatric Dentistry and Cleft Services at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at St George’s Hospital. She has also worked as a Community Dental Officer within the Community Dental Services treating anxious children and adults, and medically compromised patients.

Dr. Rishana went on to complete 3 years of Orthodontic Specialty Training at the renowned Eastman Dental Institute, where she was awarded a Distinction in the MSc in Orthodontics and was nominated for the Faculty of Medical Sciences’ Dean’s List (2021) recognizing her academic performance in the programme.

She is a member of the British Orthodontic Society, and Royal College of Surgeons of England. As an Orthodontic Specialist Dr. Rishana accepts referral for all ranges of orthodontic problems affecting adults and children and where appropriate provides treatment utilising a variety of orthodontic appliances including: cosmetic ‘tooth coloured’ braces, self-ligating braces, and Invisalign (clear aligners).

Dr. Rishana is committed to providing a high standard of orthodontic care for her patients and has a kind and approachable manner, helping her patients feel comfortable and relaxed

Dr Meera Samani BDS (Hons) MJDF RCS (Eng) MOral Surg RCS (Eng) PgCert (Clin Ed)

Meera graduated as a dentist with Honours from King’s College London in 2010. She went on to gain extensive experience in oral surgery including training in implants at the renowned Guy’s Dental Hospital and King’s Dental Institute where she completed her specialist training. Meera obtained her MOral Surg qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2017.

Meera currently works as a consultant in oral surgery at Eastman Dental Hospital where she manages patients with complex oral surgery needs, including those with osteonecrosis of the jaw. She also trains postgraduate dentists who are in the process of specialising in oral surgery.

Meera has a relaxed demeanour and enjoys creating a calm environment to put patients at ease during their treatment. She also regularly treats anxious patients under intravenous sedation. Meera is passionate about developing the younger dental generation and has completed a postgraduate certificate in clinical education at King’s College London. As well as training postgraduate dentists at Eastman Dental Hospital, she has taught the dental undergraduates at King’s College London and has been an interviewer for the undergraduate course as well as for postgraduate posts for the London deanery.

Outside of dentistry, Meera enjoys staying active, good food and travel, trying out new experiences and spending quality time with friends and family

Dr Monil Chohan BDS MJDF PgDip(rest)

Monil studied at the University of Birmingham, where he graduated as a prize winner after being selected for a special study module in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. Monil is passionate about providing high quality aesthetic and preventative treatment with photography forming a key element of his treatment planning.

Early in his career, Monil completed the MFDS examinations and also a PgDip in Restorative Dentistry at the renowned Eastman Dental Hospital, to ensure he is equipped with the knowledge and advice to deliver the highest level of dental care.

In his spare time Monil will likely be found down the road at the Emirates supporting Arsenal or out on the golf course, when the rain stays away!

Dr Francesca Tosson BDS MChD/BChD MFDS (Edin)

Dr Francesca graduated from Leeds Dental Institute in 2016 and moved to London to undertake various prestigious training jobs at Guy’s Hospital in Restorative dentistry and Oral Surgery. She has a specialist interest in Prosthodontics and is currently undertaking her specialist postgraduate training in Prosthodontics with King’s College London.

Dr Francesca is passionate about prosthodontics which focuses on the replacement of missing teeth, along with restoring and enhancing the aesthetics of teeth. She currently works part time at Guy’s Hospital providing complex prosthodontic care as part of the Specialist Restorative Team and she has particularly gained a lot of experience of providing implant restorations for her patients. In 2018 Dr Francesca was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. She was also fortunate to have been awarded the British Society of Restorative Dentistry Audit Prize for her academic work in 2018.

Dr Francesca really enjoys striving to achieve the best treatment outcomes for her patients. She really likes to make her patients feel at ease whilst under her care and ultimately enjoy their treatment experience at the clinic.

Dr Payvand Menhadji BDS (Hons) BSc (Hons) MJDF RCS Ed. Pg Cert Dent Ed.

Dr Payvand is currently training to be a specialist in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the prestigious Guys Hospital in London Bridge. She spends 3 days a week at the hospital treating complex periodontal cases, non-surgically and surgically, referred in by dentists in the London area. It is expected that she will complete her training in 2025 with admission onto the GDC Specialist Register for Periodontics.

Payvand thoroughly enjoys and partakes in periodontal research. She has been published in various renowned scientific journals and has presented work nationally and internationally. Journals including the British Dental Journal and Dental Update.

Payvand is on the Early Careers Group committee for the British Society of Periodontology and part of the ‘Next Generation’ committee for the Association of Dental Implantology. As a result of this, Payvand ensures that her patients receive the most advanced and evidence-based care. Payvand’s particular research interest is Minimally Invasive Non-Surgical Periodontal Therapy (MINST) and Minimally Invasive Surgical Periodontal Therapy (MIST) procedures.

Payvand provides an ethical and holistic approach to her patients’ dental care. Biology, Aesthetics and Function are her clinical priorities and she makes sure to alleviate any anxiety patients may have regarding dental treatment. Payvand is happy to accept any referrals regarding patients with Periodontitis (gum disease), recession cases (mucogingival treatment), aesthetic and functional crown lengthening and treatment for Peri-Implantitis.

In her spare time, Payvand runs on a regular basis and enjoys eating out in all the new spots around London!

Dr Cristina Parenti BDS, MJDF RCS (Eng.), PG Cert Dent Ed.

Cristina obtained her dental degree from the University of Birmingham where she received a number of awards. She completed her foundation training year in London, winning the prestigious Best Case Presentation prize. She was also awarded Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2017. She then spent 2 years carrying out further hospital training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, sedation and restorative dentistry at Mid Essex hospital trust and Kings College Hospital where she carried out a number of complex surgical procedures and treated patients with challenging endodontic problems. She quickly developed an interest in Endodontics which has lead her to pursue specialist training in Endodontics at the world renowned Kings College London and Guy’s Hospital for her Masters of Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Endodontics.

Cristina has also successfully completed her PgCert in Dental Education at the University of Bedfordshire and was an Educational Supervisor training newly qualified dentists.

She is extremely passionate about seeing her patients grow in confidence and leave the surgery with a positive experience whilst providing the highest quality of endodontic treatment and care. She is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attends courses and conferences to keep her knowledge up to date.

Outside of dentistry, Cristina enjoys travelling, cooking and playing netball.

Dr Soudeh Mashayekhi MBBS (Distinction), BSc, MRCP (Derm), PGCERT (Research)

Dr Soudeh Mashayekhi graduated from Imperial College Medical School in 2014, with a Distinction. She also gained a First Class Honours BSc in Management at Imperial College London. She completed her Medical training at Royal Free Hospital and Imperial College Healthcare Trust. She was able to secure a highly competitive Academic Clinical Fellowship and Registrar Training post at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital.

During her training at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, the largest Dermatology Unit in the UK, she gained experience in managing complex patients in tertiary clinics with referrals from across the Country. With a dedication to the field, Dr Mashayekhi excels in diagnosing and managing various dermatological conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, nail disease, hair loss and urticaria. She has gained a specialist interest in Medical Dermatology, managing patients with severe skin disease not responding to first line treatments. She also has extensive experience in performing skin checks to evaluate for, and treat skin cancers.

Dr Mashayekhi is proficient in performing skin biopsies for accurate diagnosis and is skilled in a broad range of dermatological surgical and non-surgical procedures, including removal of benign skin lesions and procedures to treat keloid scars, hair loss and warts. She also offers aesthetic treatments including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and profhilo.

Dr Mashayekhi has a combined total of over 30 publications and presentations in National/International conferences and  a Postgraduate certificate in Research from King’s College London. She is able to apply her research knowledge to carefully evaluate the evidence base to ensure she is offering the best treatments for her patients.

Dr Mashayekhi is a mum of two who lives locally and enjoys socialising, good food and travel. She is committed to providing comprehensive dermatological care, blending medical expertise with a personalised approach to cater to each patient’s unique needs. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful skin.
