Is there any down time?There is no down time at all, however we do encourage you to take the rest of the day easy and be gentle on yourself.
What does it feel like during the session?
Each session will be different depending on how you are feeling when you come in. Mostly you can expect a relaxed and floaty feeling. Some people have described their sessions as a bit “trippy” and some people fall asleep.
How will I feel after?
Most people feel calm and relaxed. Sometimes you will feel emotional as trapped emotions come to the surface to be released. But everything tends to settle within a few hours.
How many sessions do I need?
For cosmetic acupuncture we recommend a regular series of 6 sessions. For whole person it’s usually one session every few months.
How do I prepare for the appointment?
Make sure you have eaten before and are wearing comfortable clothes. These treatments are not for anyone who is pregnant or if you have had Botox or filler in the last month.
